It started like most great things do—with frustration, friendship, and a bit of dirt.
We were four friends who loved the outdoors: hiking on weekends, chasing sunsets, jumping on last-minute trains. But our gear? It couldn’t keep up. Zippers broke. Straps snapped. One bag even tore mid-hike, spilling snacks down a hillside.
That’s when we decided—if no bag could survive our kind of adventure,
maybe we’d just make one ourselves.
No investors. No strategy decks. Just late nights, trial and error, and a shared obsession: to build something that looked good, felt right, and didn’t fall apart halfway through a story.
That’s how Anapai was born.
Not in a factory. But in the back of a garage, fueled by coffee, complaints, and the kind of friends who always say, “We can figure it out.”
